- IP Tokens are coming to Bio V2 and will be launched via Ignition Sales exclusive to $BIO & BioXP holders. IP Tokens embody a single atomic unit of science (a novel compound, screening system or therapeutic method, etc) and can be generated by BioAgents, BioDAOs or individual labs, passing value back to contributing nodes.
- Just as AI-powered "vibe coding" is changing software engineering, "vibe science" will soon change drug engineering. Dr. Aubrey de Grey & VitaDAO researchers live-streamed a vibe science session with the @Aubrai_ Terminal, featuring live hypothesis building, experiment design, RMR2 study updates, and "proof of invention" minting by the BioAgent.
- The next Bio V2 Ignition Sales are planned for next week on Base.
- Longevity Hypothesis Challenge: Researchers who submit hypotheses & research proposals to @Aubrai_ can qualify for up to $100K in funding. Aubrey de Grey and his lab will select the best proposals to receive funding and resources. Refer a researcher and earn a 20K $BIO bounty if their proposal is selected.
- The next round of yapping BioXP went live in the Bio App last week, rewarding posts from Aug 25 to Sept 3. More distributions for recent timeframes are coming this week. BioXP is shifting to automated distributions with yapping XP being distributed every 3-7 days, while prioritizing high-quality posts and favoring XP for BIO token & Bio ecosystem staking.
- VitaDAO proposed $50K in funding to design of a new RNA therapeutic to modulate the longevity-linked FOXO3 gene.

- Pioneered by Molecule, IP Tokens represent a single unit of science, such as a novel compound, screening system or therapeutic method, with built-in funding and governance mechanics.
- Ignition Sales for IPTs will functional similarly to BioAgent Ignition Sales, with BIO and BioXP holders pledging support for allocations.
- When IPTs emerge, value can cycle back to the originating community (e.g., a single or multiple BioAgents or BioDAOs), seeding continuous R&D in the ecosystem.
👾 Vibe Science with Aubrey & Aubrai
VitaDAO researchers and Aubrey de Grey demoed the Aubrai Terminal showing live hypotheses built, experiment design and built-in PoI and IP NFT minting.
- Aubrai has now generated over 1,174 hypotheses that can be validated by the community via wet-lab experiments (IP-NFTs) and advanced to IPTs, funded via an Ignition Sale.
- Other Aubrai agent stats include: $6.6M treasury, $540K funded for RMR2 study, 4,434 PoIs minted, ~4K papers ingested, 280K+ graph entities mapped.
- The Longevity Hypothesis Challenge was initiated focused on using Aubrai to create and refine a longevity hypothesis, with the best hypotheses selected by Aubrey de Grey qualifying for up to $100K in funding:
🧪 BioAgents Development & Roadmap
- The AI team shipped ~3x hallucination reduction in cites; refactoring hypothesis generation to be multi-source (knowledge graph + open literature + web).
- Plans to publish evals/benchmarks (bioRxiv) across models with the open-source BioAgent framework evolving.
- As more BioAgents launch, exploring multiplayer BioAgent marketplaces where specialized agents talk to each other and crypto-native payments enable agent<>agent (and eventually agent<>patient) micro-transactions and data/services exchange.

🔮 BioXP Optimizations
- A new round of yapping BioXP went live in the Bio App covering yaps between August 25 and September 3.
- BioXP will move to automated weekly distributions with plans to accelerate to every 3 to 7 days.
- Incentives are reoriented to signal over noise so scientists & high-effort contributors are amplified.
- Algo has improved detection of low quality or copy-paste posts, fake or low quality replies will no longer earn XP.
- Weighting of XP will continues to favor BIO staking and ecosystem token staking.
- XP won’t start expiring until after the next Ignition Sale.
🌐 Ecosystem Updates
- VitaDAO proposed $50K in funding a new RNA therapeutic to modulate the longevity-linked FOXO3 gene into its health-promoting form, halting tissue breakdown behind generative disc disease. In addition, VitaDAO-backed Remedium Bio announced an R&D collaboration with Eli Lily to develop gene therapies for obesity and type 2 diabetes.
- ValleyDAO proposed funding for Tattva, Carbon-Negative Biomaterials for Modernizing Industry, including a $67K equity investment and an IP Token to bring it to market. They also partnered with the Bytes for Bites Hackathon, hosted by Bezos Earth Fund and Imperial College, offering participants access to Valley's Phlo platform to de-risk and prototype biotech ideas.
- The new Pump Science platform went live on Solana on July 31 and has since enabled 69 compounds, $13 million in trading volume, $301K for research funding and 77 longevity experiments, with upcoming worm, fly, mouse and human trials. Learn more in their recent progress update.
- Cerebrum DAO is offering a 15% discount on Percepta, a brain health supplement, to support their initiative for a decentralized clinical trial evaluating its cognitive enhancement benefits.
- HairDAO's lab set a world record by staining an unprecedented number of proteins and antibody dilutions in a single follicular unit. They also added a new Anagen feature allowing users to upload hair growth progress photos directly to their Discord for community feedback.
- Molecule-supported Prima Donna, pioneering the world's first approach to regrow natural enamel via stem-cell-derived organoids, launched as one of the first IP tokens on Molecule Protocol V2, with upcoming trials testing enamel-regenerating gels, foams, and rinses. Molecule also spoke at ETHTokyo alongside Vitalik Buterin, MetaMask, ConsenSys, and others.
- Curetopia-backed RAPTOR has raised $45K from trading fees within just a few weeks to support their animal studies.
- PsyDAO has partnered with INME Wellness, a leading European provider of high-end psilocybin retreats, to fund psilocybin and longevity research through 10% of participant fees from referrals.
