💡New BioDAOs
- Long COVID Labslaunched their case studies for Pemgarda and Paxlovid to target viral persistence and patient #1 already documented early symptom relief. Long Covid Labs will monitor viral persistence biomarkers across multiple measurement tools and assays, and plans to collect decentralized data from their community to fuel their rapid trial engine and deploy personalized therapies targeted to an individual's biomarker profile.
- MycoDAO passed Bio Curation and started its pre-sale fundraise which reached its minimum goal of 2.1K SOL in just 48 hours. The pre-sale fundraise is live until May 12, after which $MYCO will go live for trading. The DAO also introduced a new device that integrates with their MycoWallet app, rewarding users who contribute real-world mushroom data that can be leveraged by Myco's Multi-Agent System (MAS) to generate new therapeutics, materials and climate solutions.
- SpineDAO launched their token auction & have raised over $200K so far (closing May 15) - Contribute here. As part of the Bio x AI Hackathon, Spine discussed the "Chronos" project aimed at building a knowledge graph that links historical spine texts with modern surgical methods. The DAO also partnered with Spinal Alignment Solutions (SAS), the first spine surgery industry leader to invest in $SPINE, enabling SAS to leverage SpineDAO's AI and data infrastructure to accelerate spine R&D.
- Curetopia are growing ARS yeast avatars in the lab. Expect initial results soon, along with their plans to scale the research to 30 ARS gene-related rare diseases. They also announced their Q2 budget & 16–20-week timeline, targeting results by July 4 & introduced the Curetopia core team. The DAO also spoke at DeSci Summit Dubai & Vitalist Bay & launched a 12-part series on rare disease parents & patients, with 3 parts already released.
