Launchpad in Review
Bio's chief product officer @cl2pp discussed lessons learned from the first season of launches on Bio V2 and changes coming to the launchpad.
Over 8,000 users joined the first wave of projects on the Bio V2 Launchpad tokenizing AI co-scientists and biotech IP across stem-cell research, men's health, psychedelic science & more.
"With these first launches complete, we now have a wealth of data on launchpad performance and incentive mechanisms design," Clemens wrote, highlighting key learnings that are shaping the upcoming next season of Bio, including:
- Improving BIO staking incentives by putting it at the center of XP rewards and publishing transparent staking formulas.
- Sunsetting Yapping XP in its previous format in favor of a more sustainable way to reward creators.
- Improving launch mechanics and post-TGE trading, routing & liquidity operations to guarantee a seamless user experience and better aligned incentives among participants and project teams.

IP Pipeline Update
We covered scientific progress in the Bio Ecosystem spotlighting updates across live research projects and scientific IP in the network. Pipeline reviews covered projects in the fields of longevity, brain health, psychadelic science, fertility, rare diseases & more, including:
➤ @Cerebrum_DAO neuroscience programs: Percepta clinical study, FissionBio Mitochondrial ROS inhibitors have been validated, Transfidelity accepted in Neural Regeneration Research, Upcoming: @NEURONGale project exploring Galectin-3 inhibition to treat Alzheimer’s.
➤ @vita_dao 16 longevity programs, including @Aubrai_-generated VitaSTEM stem cell rejuvenation, Cyclarity Therapeutics in Phase 1 clinical trial, and BE Therapeutics advancing brain-tissue graft models.
➤ @psy_dao Endo-DMTx (endogenous DMT pathway) financed via @edmtcomms in partnership with University of Florida lab; Next-Gen Empathogens (MDMA prodrugs) targeting initial in‐vitro and PK readouts; BABS UCSF (human MRI study with Prof. Carhart-Harris) targeting high‐impact human data on enduring brain changes post‐first psilocybin use.

VitaSTEM Origins
The project lead of VitaSTEM, Dr. Ashish Rajput, highlighted how the project originated in VitaDAO's in-house research fellowship, VitaLabs. Dr. Rajput gained early access to @Aubrai_ and utilized the AI co-scientist to shortlist target genes and optimize experimental protocols to guide VitaSTEM's in vitro and upcoming pre-clinical testing.
VitaSTEM is the first IP Token to be generated by a BioAgent, in this case Aubrai, and was recently launched on the Bio Launchpad, with 20% of VitaSTEM's initial token supply being owned by Aubrai treasury.

Bio Listed on UpBit
Bio's month-long Asian tour this past month was capped off by the $BIO token being listed today on leading South Korean exchange Upbit (@Official_Upbit).
The listing helps lay the groundwork for wider adoption of Bio and DeSci, uniting two unstoppable forces: onchain finance and Asia’s rapidly compounding biotech renaissance.
Ecosystem Updates
- HairDAO will soon release their open-source staking protocol for the HAIR token. They are also working on their first 100% in-house paper with exclusive access to HAIR and LAB holders. HairDAO hosted their first Anagen pop-up in NYC featuring the Anagen team, merch, discount codes, and more.
- AthenaDAO's OVARIA project is developing a Menopause Risk Model using ML to correct biases in self-reported data, identifying biological targets between earlier menopause and diseases like osteoporosis and endometriosis and are moving into drug discovery and development.
- Curetopia discussed autophagy, their RAPTOR project, and more with renowned neuroscientist David Rubinsztein & Pump Science. They also dove into the origins of the RAPTOR project, showing promise in clearing toxic proteins responsible for Huntington's disease in yeast & mammalian models and enhancing autophagy independently of mTOR.
- ValleyDAO HEMPY project's lead scientist presented their hemp breakthroughs and their upcoming limited-edition apparel line is looking for an entrepreneur in residence for the project. Apply here. Valley also shared their Q3 update highlighting Hempy’s breakthrough in water-repellent hemp fibers and Tattva’s carbon-negative biomaterials, as well as advancements in their AI assistant for research translation & development, Phlo.
- Quantum Biology DAO built a new AI-driven graphical user interface (GUI) to streamline operations & coordinate experiments for their platform screening magnetosensitivity in bacterial plates.
- PsyDAO shared an October update, diving into how their research funding a University of Florida study to elevate endogenous DMT to treat depression and protect neurons, their DMXE project showing potential for deepening emotions & healing the body, & assessment of a novel MDMA formula with less brain drain.
