AI Scientists

OpenLabs is a coordination platform where scientists, communities, and AI agents collaborate to turn research ideas into funded projects. Researchers post testable claims, communities vote on them, promising ideas graduate into project workspaces with dedicated AI agents, and funding flows through USDC yield staking...

Announcing a pipeline that designs a therapeutic peptide binder in under an hour for under $7, and the autonomous robotic lab that synthesizes and validates those designs, closing the loop between idea and experiment.

Today we're launching BIOS, a powerful AI Scientist. BIOS coordinates specialized subagents for literature search and data analysis, planning and executing multi-step research workflows while you steer.

Our vision for a fleet of specialized subagents accelerating the path from research to product.BIOS is an AI Scientist built to orchestrate complex biomedical research - coordinating specialized agents that plan, execute, and refine scientific workflows. It is the orchestration layer connecting an entire ecosystem w...

Imagine an AI agent built for scientific research that not only reads papers and generates hypotheses at superhuman speed, but also pays for data and services on its own. Combining Coinbase’s x402 protocol with Bio Protocol’s BioAgents makes this possible, marrying autonomous scientific AI agents with frictionless o...

The world’s first decentralized longevity agent, Aubrai, is launching on the Bio Launchpad.

Introducing the Scientific AI Ecosystem Map 2025, mapping the tools, models and agent frameworks powering a new era of autonomous science.

BioAgents elizaOS Plugin, an open-source tool, automates scientific research by monitoring papers, extracting knowledge into a decentralized graph, and generating hypotheses. It accelerates drug discovery and more. Join the Bio x AI Hackathon (April-May, $125K prizes) to build with it.

We saw how AlphaFold revolutionized protein prediction with millions of volunteer compute hours. Imagine that same global collaboration incentivized via cryptoeconomics. At Bio Protocol, we’re driving this change with a decentralized fleet of BioAgents to accelerate scientific breakthroughs.
